i am officially due today
Well, today is officially my "due date," which I have a feeling will come and go without much pomp and circumstance. It makes me sort of nervous because now I am officially on the clock, because the midwives would like for me to not go anymore than two weeks past today before we would be talking about an induction, which I am totally not down with. But hey, I can always go against medical advice and let Squishy bake as long as he or she would like.
In other pregnancy related news, A STRANGER TOUCHED MY STOMACH! I was bending down to get salsa at the IGA in clifton, and one of the young employees asked when I was due, to which I replied "monday." then she rubbed my belly and asked if it was a girl or a boy. so, sheeeew, you know, I can cross that off the pregnancy scavenger hunt. man, I should actually make a pregnancy scavenger hunt...hmm. maybe if i have time today.
I have to say I am actually GLAD to be going past my due date, not before it. Squishy has been nice and patient and allowed Todd and I to run around doing all the little things we would not have had the time to do should he/she have arrived prior to 40 weeks. I have restocked FeTO like crazy because I am participating in my first craft show EVER(!!!) in early October, and I don't know how much time I will have once bebe is here. I have also cleaned and scrubbed weird things in our apartment, like all our liquor bottles. Because I would hate for the baby to have to dust off a bottle before making itself a dry martini.
But ANYWAY, I figured I'd post this, and hint that while there have been a lot of entries, 75% have already been wrong, so guess away!
