You are going to have to do something dear.marssMarch 18 2006, 02:12:32 UTC
That is ridiculous and it's not entirely her fault. Either get her spayed or let her get laid. Sorry to be rude. Let her play outside. If Cynthia wanted her back, she would have her now. How many years have you had Charisma? three going on four now? Even if you get her fixed or she brings home kittens, you and the rest of your family will have peace AND Cyn could still have her back. What are you waiting for?! ANSWER!
I'll even commit to taking a kitten if it comes to that.

You and I both know what the hold up is - Cynthia. Technically neither Shotzie or Charisma are mine. Now, I know for all purposes they are but I also realize that on a whim she could come over and take them at any time. If I had Chrisma spayed and Cynthia decided she wanted the cat what an I going to say? Oh, by the way, I had your cat neutered. I didn't figure you would mind.

Don't act neutered yourself. You are concerned with how she would feel about you having the cat you have had for the past 3 or 4 years, who has destroyed your carpet and keeps you awake two weeks out of every single month, spayed so she doesn't go into heat every other week?! If you are concerned with her reaction on the very very small chance she wants the cat back, someone who clearly should not be allowed to own pets anymore, YOU SHOULD CALL HER and say. look, cynthia, charisma is miserable. she is going into heat every two weeks and I am afraid to let her out due to the pregnancy factor and also living so close to a main road. I'm thinking of having her spayed. If you have any objection to this, please give me a call by the end of the week. Thank you. *beep* Either she will call you back or she won't. That solves the surprise issue in the future. If you really don't want to have her spayed for some reason, that's another box of rocks altogether. I am going to have to get Iz spayed, let's find a good place. K?

If I spay her it is like the final admission that she belongs to me. Iz is too young to be spayed. Vets generally recommend that you allow your dog to go into heat at least once. When you want to do it, though, I know a good vet.

The last I heard of Dr. Tom he was still a truck driving unemployed foot doctor looking for a practice. He was taking online courses in hospital administration while out on his truck and he has expressed an interest in becoming a lawyer so why not a veterinarian?
