(no subject)
Yeah, I got to meet lunapoppy and Thorunn! We had a sweet little gathering in the backyard-why is it that this is the last days of summer and we just now have our backyard party? Oh yeah, because I work 2 nights/week. I hope we can squeeze in some more of these soon. It was sweet to have an easy meal, wine, cheese, kids running back and forth involved in imagination games and get to know better these women I have been sharing with online for 6 years now. I picked them up in the airport just back from Iceland (which looks so lovely) and they stayed in our outside office/cabana on the spare futon. The next day, herongrrrl and the newest grrrly and I played tourguides with a drive around West Seattle, water taxi ride, bus to the Seattle Center, and ride up the Space Needle. Just a nice taste of the town before they had to catch another flight home, to a dead car sadly, but we had fun with them here! I was just no good at getting posed shots, have to wait for the gals to post theirs, but caught a few on the sly!
