I hardly ever post anymore here or anywhere.
But things are going on. Work is sucking far more than usual so have stepped up the job search.
I meet with my doctor on Saturday to do the FMLA paperwork in case my surgery is worse than we know or I actually have cancer or something (don't be too distressed, I'm not, I've already passed all the cancer blood tests with negatives and it would be freaky if they find something). But it could be a more serious surgery than originally anticipated because they won't know until they get in there. It could also be really easy. (TMI, it's a 3 inch long ovarian cyst that may have additional complications and require the removal of more stuff or maybe not.)
I go under the knife on Friday 5/4 and I will MISS THE AVENGERS. This is probably the WORST thing about the surgery. I'm also totally pissed I have to have surgery in the first place, I've never gone to the hospital in my life since birth.
I plan to use the time off my feet to look for a new job. Hopefully I'll have one soon. If I have extra time I'm also looking into formatting some old not-sold novels for online distribution at Amazon. So if anyone has advice on that, I'd appreciate it. Are there tutorials somewhere?
