I know NOTHING about the setting or the challenge, but honestly, it didn't detract from the story and I genuinely felt I knew the characters. I loved this! You've such a good way with words. Only wish you'd write more often!

DUDE, you simply MUST read Terry Prachett's Discworld novels. I'm not kidding. You would love them.

This is a pale and sad shadow of the awesomeness that are his Witch books.

Thanks so much for reading this, anyway.

SEP, this was great. I've been re-dissolving myself in the discworld novels and you capture it so perfectly, the way that Granny thinks. I love Granny more than anyone.

There's so much lunatic wisdom in this. and good sense. I love the way the discworld/granny/you know about real power and real problems. it's so cluey.

seriously, loved it.

Thanks.

I wish I'd had more time to edit it and add funny bits.

It has the right shape, I think. But it isn't nearly funny enough to be spot on with the style.

See! I told you it didn't suck!

Also, the tea party was fab. I wholeheartedly aprove. Ditto to the witchly huddle.

Where did you get your Granny icon?!?

Also, the knitting is what set me off on the tea party, so it was really your idea.

Oh, that was great fun, SEP! Excellent voices and plotting. And the last line is a killer. Marvelous!

Thanks. I actually started this thing not knowing where it was going to end up, but the line just became obvious halfway through.

Most of the best parts in this were Kelly's idea, though.

I was wandering about LJ as one does and have been delightfully rewarded by this treasure. This is amazing and true to the books and *happy sigh* you give good Granny. And that last line is priceless! *g*

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for reading and commenting on this very old fic I wrote for my pal.

I haven't quite nailed the Pratchett, but I do love me some Granny.
