About that air conditioner

So, after wasting MANY MANY hours hunting to find where my Mom, who had waited for the workmen while I went to work, had put my AC warranty, (I eventually found it with my DEED and plat survey) I just wandered over and shut off the thermostat for kicks.

Miraculously, it all began to work again. I wonder if the power outage last week did something to confuse it so it didn't turn on.
