The cool crisp air gave Chinen Yuuri's skin a refreshing and relaxing feeling as he removed the yellow wool jacket that kept him warm from the unnaturally cold spring air.
Hey! Say! JUMP was in Nagoya, enjoying a short vacation from all their responsibilities as pop idols. They were due to perform at SUMMARY 2008 in August, so this was a much needed break for them.
It would then be the only time they would be able to enjoy the freshness of spring, for spring was almost ending, and summer was fast approaching.
"Chii." A soft but deep voice called out from behind the young boy. Chinen turned around to see that the voice belonged to Takaki Yuya. He smiled softly and motioned to the older boy to sit beside him and enjoy the mountain view.
Instead, he was surprised by the taller boy as he was lifted up. Before he knew it, he was already seated on Takaki's lap.
"Y-Yuunyan..." Chinen started to protest sofly, but was interrupted as Takaki brought a finger to his lips.
"Shh. Just enjoy it for what it is. It's not everyday you get to watch this kind of scenery while on anyone's lap, right?"
Takaki slowly wrapped his arms around Chinen's smaller waist, enveloping the boy in a warm and protective hug.
The younger boy sighed in contentment as he leaned into the embrace, his back snuggling comfortably into Takaki's chest. Together, they watched the beautiful scenery, savoring the last moments of spring.
"Mm... Yuunyan..."
"Hm?"
"Haru ga owaru deshou?"**
"Mm. Yeah. Today seems to be the last day of this year's spring..."
"Yeah. So... Let's make the most out of this day ne?" Chinen whispered softly into Takaki's ear as his hands played with the older boy's hands on his abdomen.
"Mm. Right now, it's just you and me..." Takaki whispered back, tilting Chinen's head slightly to make eye contact with him.
"...watching spring come to an end."
As the petals of the cherry blossom trees gently began to fall, they shared a soft kiss which would be embedded in their memories forever.
...Because it's the best spring that has come into our lives.

"Oi, Yama-chan!"
Yamada sighed as he reeled around to see a very excited Yuto running up to him with a camera in hand.
"Mou~ What is it, Yuto?" he sighed again exasperatedly. Yuto just didn't get that being hyperactive was not the way to be, now that it was time for them to relax.
"I GOT THE SCOOP OF THE CENTURY." Yuto boasted proudly, playfully striking a superhero pose. Yamada rolled his eyes and laughed at Yuto's exaggeration.
"OH REALLY? What?" he asked the taller boy as he took a bite off the ice cream popsicle he was holding.
"Takaki and Chinen, kissing on the porch!"
In shock, Yamada dropped the popsicle and hurriedly scooted to a spot beside Yuto, who was excitedly going through the pictures in his camera.
"WHERE WHERE WHERE."
"WAAAAAAIT." Yuto pressed a few more buttons before he finally arrived at the photo. Yamada stared at the photo in shock before bursting into GIRLY giggles.
"Hee. They look good together. You should catch them more oft--"
"And just what are you two giggling over?" A voice boomed behind them. It was Takaki, all right. Yuto made an effort to hide his camera, but to no avail. Takaki had already snatched it from his hands and intently stared at the picture on the small screen.
"...Is that me and Chii?" he questioned Yuto after a few moments of uncomfortable silence, his voice venomous in tone.
"...Uh, no?" Yuto replied meekly. It wasn't a question, it was more of a statement.
"Then why is it that the person in the picture is wearing the same thing I'm wearing now? And the other.... person. Is wearing Chinen's favorite green shirt? Explain."
"Uh. I don't know?" Yuto cringed before giving in.
"OKAYIADMITTHATWASYOUANDCHIIDONTKILLMEKTHXBAI."
And with that, he ran away, leaving Yamada, with Takaki following on his trail.
"YUTOOOOOOOOOOO. WHY YOU--!"
