Sorry, I wish I could be there with you guys tomorrow to bowl and listen to the music. But I can't drive, it's outside of my biking range (well, maybe if I leave at the crack of dawn, I'll ponder that for the next couple hours).
Anyway, I've been thinking, I want to ride my bike to Canada. I've only been to Canada once, and that was about 10 years ago and I don't remember much of it. I'm just wondering what the requirements are, how I get across on my bike. I believe you're not allowed to ride your bike across the bridge in Detroit, so I'll have to see if I can take the ferry or something. Also, if I take my backpack for drinks and stuff will they be very suspicious and inspect what's inside? And is it even biking distance for me? Meaning, will I be able to ride there, explore Canada, and ride back home all before sunset?
I'll think it over, hopefully before school starts back up and I can say that I did it.
What I watched this weekend:
From Hell - I saw that for the first time, good flick, Johnny Depp did a good job, but to be honest, it's not really his film, even though he's the main character, I bet if it was any actor it would have been the same film. It was entertaining though and it was a good whodunnit.
Dazed and Confused - I also saw this for the first time. I was afraid it was gonna be just another one of those stoner movies (well, it is), but this is a stoner movie that's also a really good movie. The actors all did a great job, it's a hilarious movie, and it gets better after watching it. It's got so many memorable scenes and great lines, and a lot of the characters are memorable. Bravo to Linklater and the cast.
