Ryan discusses in this week's reading "reactivity versus interactivity"
Reactivity is when the reader can only react to the text because the text is in control.
I think Twelve Blue which was an exploratory hypertext was also a reactive text in which the system controlled the reader more than the reader interacted with the system.
But how much are we ever in control of electronic systems? Unless you are the individual who is coding for the system most electronic mediums have some element of reactivity within them.
