rants: school 2013 (and its flawlessness)

Feb 03, 2013 13:59

So I've just finished watching the last episode of S2013 and its special episode, and because my heart is still yearning for this show, I might as well shower my love for this freaking perfect drama in this post. (Also, happy belated new year peeps.)

I guess this drama ended quite in a disappointing matter, but I wasn't really that disappointed though. It had its own special sparks to it, and of course because it ended with Heungsoon (brotp) smiling at each other, it is somehow perfect right? Although not all ribbons ended with a perfect bow - some did, so I am glad - so it didn't matter much. We get to see Namsoon and Heungsoo finally making amends, and they are ultimate best friends like before awww. Minki can finally breathe calmly now that his mom realizes that kids should have their own dreams and ambitions. Hakyung is not the selfish girl anymore and she's the best friend that Kangjoo will always love. Nari and Hyesun are still best friends, and nothing will break the bond. And Jungho made Teacher Jung and Teacher Kang realize that sometimes, you have to let go of someone so that they can become a better person someday. My heart breaks at this part where Teacher Kang lets go of Jungho's hand when Jungho wants him too, but he tells his teacher to not worry because he won't grow up by doing bad things. Do you hear something breaking? (p/s: here's a convenient list of students in class 2-2 keke)

But, there are some things that I wish that it could happen. Like for example, I really wish that Teacher Kang and Teacher Jung will end up together. I mean, they compliment each other so well and the both of them are backbones for each other, like seriously. I'm liking the fact that they did hinted that they might be in a relationship (I believe so, okay.) Also, omg why did the PDs and scriptwriters decided to throw in hints of lovelines at the last minute? Like seriously? I initially really wanted Namsoon and Hakyung but somewhere along the way, I found myself falling in love with Heungsoo and Hakyung. I remember how she told him that she wasn't afraid of him? And then he even told her to just tell the truth to Kangjoo during their big fight? They seemed like they know each other so well and my heart breaks when Heungsoo helped Hakyung when she got hurt. An otp that never did. And there's Yikyung and Kyungmin, oh such bratty kids that somehow, I fell in love through all their bickers. Somehow, I could sense that all of these could happen in their senior year. Way to go. I NEED A CONTINUATION OMG.

Oh God, I'm so in love with this drama and I don't think that I can get over this drama for the meantime. I feel that I can relate to this drama, like a lot because I know how it feels like to be a school student. Life as a students might looks like it's bad, but the memories that you will reminisce after that will haunt you forever. (in a good way.) So for those who wants a really good coming-of-age or something that you will feel that you can relate to while watching, I recommend this drama for those kids. Hey teenagers, this is for you!

“There is no flower that would bloom without being shaken. All the pretty flowers in this world all bloom while being shaken. While being shaken, it straightened its stem. There is no love that would leave without being shaken. Where is there a flower that would bloom without being whipped? All the shining flowers in this world all bloom while being whipped. While being whipped by the wind and rain, the flower petals bloomed warmly. There is no life that goes by without being whipped.” - Teacher Jung
