A reminder that MORE JOY DAY is THIS FRIDAY, January 20th!! I'm actually super excited about this one, even though I have only a vague idea of what I'm going to actually DO. Although I am getting my hair done, so I guess more joy for ME is taken care of. Heh.
I was listening to "For Good" in the car this morning, which made me ship Elphaba/Glinda, because, I mean, YOU KNOW, and then I wondered if there were vids to it (I'm sure there are but I haven't looked) and then I got to thinking about Ray Vecchio because I'm only ever one step away from thinking about Ray Vecchio at any particular moment in my life and I was reminded of "One Good Man" and how that was an episode that heavily featured Vecchio's ex-wife and yet it somehow still just made him seem even more in love with Fraser and then I thought about Fraser helping Vecchio release his inner good person and that's why Vecchio HAD to go to Vegas and then I thought about Vecchio in Vegas, scared and trying so hard and there because he wanted to do the Right Thing and then I got really sad and now I am here sharing these thoughts with you because that's what blogs are for, darn it.
Oh my god all of my Due South icons are gone??? I didn't want to get a Premium account but my multifannishness may compel me. I can't NOT have due South icons. Come on.
Couple of fannish things: FandomTrumpsHate is running over at Tumblr. (Offerings list here.) I have bid on someone to draw some sketches for me to put into a Blackwall vid I want to make because Dragon Age is my life now? But seriously I'm super excited about the potential of this vid, and how it will be using outside and original sources (her fanart), so I hope my bid wins. All proceeds go to good causes! If you're into saving the world, that is. Auctions close tomorrow (Thursday the 19th)!
And apparently there is a Cuddles For Comfort 2017 sort of lowkey mini-challenge going on, if that is your thing. I am Here For Cuddles, personally, though all of my writing will is still bent upon finishing my DA:I fic, which continues apace and has crested a 56k word count.
My urge to create a Roberta Warren from Z Nation vid continues to gnaw at my bones and I DO have a song that would be amazing but it's kind of goofy (which...Z Nation is ALSO kind of goofy) and I feel like Roberta deserves better. IDK, IDK. Vidding is great, but this fic. THIS FIC. I GOTTA FINISH THIS FIC. It's stoppering up all other fannish work because it's so near to being done. I just need to do it.
I need a Warren icon. And more icon slots.
