Happy new year! Have a meme!
Things I should be doing: finishing my Festivid (so close!); doing Puplet's 28 month post (so far!); doing my end of year music meme (not even started!). Instead I am doing this meme.
1. Your main fandom of the year?
For currently airing shows, it would probably be Community, since it's the only one I made time to regularly talk about. For past shows, it's still Prison Break.
2. Your favourite film watched this year?
Did I see any movies this year? I honestly can't remember, though I'm sure I must have seen at least ONE. Stupid swiss-cheese memory. According to my tags the only movie I saw fit to talk about this year was Drive Angry. That would figure.
3. Your favourite book read this year?
I really enjoyed the Hunger Games series. And I, unlike a lot of people it seems, also enjoyed GRRM's latest ASOIAF book. Mostly I was just so thrilled to have it DONE. Heh.
4. Your favourite album or song to listen to this year?
Not an album released this year, so I'll mention it now: Letters From A Flying Machine by Peter Mulvey. And I've been listening to "Shirt" from his Kitchen Radio a really obsessive amount. For albums from this year, I'll go on at length in my music meme (hint: it's the Decemberists *g*).
5. Your favourite TV show of the year?
Community! Homeland! Treme! STORAGE WARS.
6. Your favorite LJ community of the year?
IDK...how about

7. Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Hmmmmm...maybe MCR? Oh wait, Hugh Dillon! Or DC comics! It was a great year for fandom discovery for me, TBH.
8. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
That apparently Dexter really sucks. I haven't even started it and just reading about it is turning me off even more. I wish the show had ended last season, TBH.
9. Your TV boyfriend of the year?
Troy on Community. (Thanks, Fandom March Madness!)
10. Your TV girlfriend of the year?
LaDonna on Treme. I hope her life gets better next season.
11. Your biggest squee moment of the year?
GRRM's latest book coming out. I waited SIX YEARS, y'all. That's a lot of stored-up squee.
12. The most missed of your old fandoms?
PRISON BREAK. COME BACK TO MEEEEEEEE.
13. The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
Parks and Rec, I think. I watched the Christmas episode this year and was utterly charmed. I also want to watch the 11th Doctor, and we still have Southland and Fringe season 1 DVDs with the wrapping on them!
14. Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
Bitchin Party 2012! Festivids reveals! Vividcon! The return of Community at some point! How I'm going to be totally left behind by everyone joining Avengers fandom! The usual. Heh.
