"There is a place that we will all see each other again, and that place is Denny's."

I wanted to post about the Community finale when it happened (or at least shortly thereafter), but life has been ugly the last couple of weeks and so I've been struggling just to keep afloat lately, let alone have any cohesive thoughts on a show I adore. So I will just say that I loved both parts of the finale and can't wait until the show comes ( Read more... )

I can't help feeling there might be a connection between these two statements:

I'm pretty sure I've lost my vidding mojo

I'm pretty sure someone in this house has been sick almost every week since January

*snug and snugs*

Your mojo will return! I have complete faith in that.

Heh, you are probably right on the connection. Right now I sincerely doubt my mojo will return, but it has spurred me to consider some ideas to maybe make my brainspace more inviting, like trying to do some 15-30 second vidlets for all these song ideas I'll never make full vids to. I keep threatening to do that, but never actually do it. It might be just the jolt I need.

*cheers you on*

(Just over a year ago, I made a list of 20 vidding exercises, such as: 20 second dance vidlet; tell a story in six to twelve clips; make a montage; a vidlet that describes a character but uses no more than 10 shots of their face; etc. I've never made time to try them, but I was hoping that focusing on technical things would give my subconscious a chance to come out and play in the creative/artistic space. IDK.)

*cheers you on MOAR*
