Berries, berries everywhere
Berry season has officially started here in Washington (weird weather this season), so yesterday AHH and I went and bought an entire flat of fresh strawberries. OM NOM NOM. We have already made a (gluten-free!) strawberry cobbler. We're getting vanilla ice cream today and we have a chunk of dark chocolate ready for melting. Who wants to come to our house for berry day??
We're also going to see Toy Story 3 this afternoon. It's gotten very good reviews, though we're not seeing it in 3-D.
And at some point I need to work. Blech. But first - more meme.

CSI: Miami. Though I suppose it's not the show I hate, so much as the fact that it continues to be very popular and gets picked up season after season when it is SO TERRIBLE. David Caruso is a caricature of himself - not in a good way! IDK, I haven't seen an episode for a few years, so maybe it magically got better. But I really doubt it.

Day 05- A song that has a new meaning to you every time you hear it
"Amazing Grace." It was, strangely enough, a Piers Anthony book that first attracted me to the song, and as I've grown up I find it applies to my life in many different ways the older I get. I also find that the way different people sing the song can affect what it means to me at any given time. Here's my favorite version of it, and the one I find most uplifting.
