Pacificon - day 1!
My first day of bitchinparty did not start as I hoped (I'd wanted to get down to the hotel for at least a short while at noon, but as I am on, as laurashapiro put it, "Baby Standard Time," that was not to be), and neither did it end as I'd hoped (see previous parenthetical *g*), but the middle was great! Hee. I got to the hotel about 7pm and received multiple excellent hugs from a variety of people and then came the glorious experience of watching Dante's Cove in a room full of excited fans. I even managed to somehow notice new, awful things about it! And it made me want to re-watch season 3. YOU GUYS, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW how awesome it is!
Then I got a preview of a Thing that was also awesome, watched maybe the best Hercules/Iolas (sp?) vid to "My Immortal" ever (*shakes tiny fist of doom at greensilver & sweetestdrain*), popped in ever-so-briefly to the David Cook & Friends party where I managed to watch "Hot For Teacher" (SCORE), and stumbled across sansets on my way back out of the hotel!
I call the day a win!
Now I'm just waiting for Puplet to wake up, and then we're heading down to the hotel. Unless he has a freak 2-hour nap, we should be there NLT 11:30. YAY FANS.
