Journaling: it's what's for breakfast

I'm working on getting my Dreamwidth subscriptions/access settled, trying to balance my time constraints with my desire to get to know the many awesome people I've been missing. Now that I'm actually committing to this cross-posting thing, I think I might unsubscribe from people who are cross-posting to both sites with open comments so I'm not ( Read more... )

I decided not to import my one character (I have THREE, hee) who died at the end of DA:O into DA:A, even though they would let me, because it ruins her narrative. HER STORY IS BEAUTIFUL, OKAY?
Ha ha ha. Do not damage the integrity of her narrative!

And I am all for non-fannishness! At some point I stopped posting about TV so often. I don't know; I think everybody stopped. But I also don't know what else to post about. I have to make my posts worth existing, after all.

I just really have nothing to say about most TV right now; I'm between fandoms and have been for awhile and that often keeps me from posting. Which is silly.

I always look forward to your posts. *hugs*

PS. Frell, I hit post before adding something else....I blame Indigo for distracting me by being cute. Anyway, considering just how to use a journal is vital I think. I hope you'll post even if it's not of a fannish nature. :)

Thank you. *hugs* It is definitely a good thought exercise for me at least to figure out what I want to blog about going forward. Life keeps changing, so why shouldn't my journal? :)

I haven't had an active fandom in a while, but I value the community I met through fandom, and I like to write (it's like art but way easier!). I figure the people who aren't interested can stop reading if they want; I'm writing for the people who are. (This is a vote for the "write what moves you" sentiment.)

*nod* That's the tack I'm taking these days, which is helping revitalize my desire to participate again as well. A nice side benefit.
