I've vidded Buffy, Firefly, due South, Heroes, and assorted small fandoms.

...and I just realized that it's been six years since I vidded Buffy. Whoa. Weird.

People Get Ready is one of the best vids I've ever seen - I love the motion, the clip choices, the slow, inevitable build. It has a special place in my heart because it reminds me of all the things I fell utterly in love with in S1 of Heroes.

Okay, this may seem kind of over the top, but I mean every word of it. You are the vidder I have always wanted to be, and when I realized how similar our methods were, it made me flail ridiculously because it was like there was hope I could make vids like you some day. I just...I can't tell you how much I fangirl you as a vidder and a person. I respect you so much - becoming friends with you has been one of the highlights of my fannish experience ( ... )

I think my favorite will always be "In the Mirror".
It's such an amazing, sweet, heart-felt summary of that character. So lovely :)

I think Cat Scan Hist'ry is still my favorite vid of yours, actually. It's the one I've watched the most and feel the deepest personal connection to. The chandelier cut to the dancing! It moves me! I can't help it!

I love your Gilmore Girls vid from VVC in 2008. It makes me happy.

Can't... type! Too... intimidated!

But if I could type, I'd clack out a bunch of nonsensical gushing about your perfect pacing and your versatility in terms of music and source, and then it would all descend into random capslock superlatives.

New Frontier is one of my all-time favourite vids, and I rewatch it regularly. If I want to try to explain to a non-vidder about what we do, it's one I show them. I think it's one of the best vids I've ever seen - it doesn't need a bunch of flashy effects because it is just so visually compelling, beautifully edited and emotionally evocative.

You are so awesome ! and not because you grow tomatoes ! But because you're so good. I like your style so much and how you hit it just so perfectly. I haven't seen all of your vids yet, bad me, but I don't need to to tell you you are one of my favourite vidder :) so I guess, thank you, for being awesome and inspiring :)

My first (and favorite) vid of yours is Superstar. It had such a huge impact on me, both as a fan of the show/character and as a vidder. Watching your vid make me feel like I understood Faith better than I ever had before: your clip choices and visual narrative were so perfect and so stunning.

My favorite vid of yours (and of all time) is still Superstar. It is just so amazing argumentwise, visually, musically, on every level it is the perfect work of art. No matter how many times I watch it, I am still awed and identify with Faith so much, I just love how you make me experience what she did. I especially love when you blend character studies with relationship studies like Superstar and Out Here. Out Here just fills me with joy and emotion and love everytime I watch it. It is the ultimate Fraser vid for me and says everything about why I connect and adore him so much. And I will never get over the brilliance and motion love of New Frontier.

You have just so many amazing vids! I love how Strength in You makes me squee everytime, the beauty and build of People Get Ready, the touching metaphor of Sea Fever, the delightfulness of RayK, the surrealism of Cat Scan and the sad longing (with kickass editing!) of Come On. I am dying to see what you do with The Wire not to mention Friday Night Lights.

You're one of my absolute favourite vidders. I'm still in awe of the fight scene in Come On, and the work that must have gone into cutting those clips.

I also adore Out Here, and the way it illustrates Fraser's relationship with RayK, and the reconciliation that it allows them to finally achieve. And then there's the emotional impact of Thistledown Tears...

I really don't think I can pick a favourite. You've done so many fabulous vids.

I was going to say 'Out Here'. But then I remembered your new S&A one, 'Sea Fever'. I can't choose! I love them both for the same reason. Perfectly chosen songs vidded with incredible love and technical skill. You have such a delicate touch on the helm, guiding my emotional journey so subtly that it takes me a dozen watchings to understand what makes them So. Damn. Good.

I have been shy to feedback to you but I really like your vids a lot--particularly Cat Scan History, your Slings and Arrows vids and your quirky Wonderfalls vids (or actually is that a tautology?!). I don't know how to describe the unique quality I feel they all have except to say that it feels like you have a very gentle 'hand', there's a lot of tenderness and affection in your vidding and it never feels forced.

You are a standard-setter and what I love about your work is that there is such heart and soul behind it. At a time when I often find vidding to have neither and too much service is paid to things that don't have a lot of meaning, you stand even more apart because you never get lost in the technical, even though you clearly have amazing tech prowess, and always have something with great meaning for the viewer.
