I could see a Kara vid to "Bad Girlfriend" (Theory of a Dead Man) or a cylon vid to "More Human Than Human" (White Zombie). :-D

Also! Listening to the radio this afternoon, I heard "Bubbly" (Colbie Caillat) and thought of you! If there is not a Kara vid to this yet, there should be. Because it makes her crinkle her nose! And Kara has the best crinkly nose ever. **nods**

I think Boom Boom Pow is my favourite from you - it suits your upbeat style, even though I know that you think it's not worth finishing...

I think if you want to recover your vid mojo the best thing I can think of is just not to force it - vid something you really want to vid, regardless of what you feel you should be vidding. If you want to stretch yourself, try something new. If not, do something you've done a million times before, you will be stretching yourself anyway, trust me. All vidding is vidding and unless you're enjoying it you won't learn anything anyway.

I don't have specific suggestions except my constant mantra, MOAR, cus I'm a firm believer in everyone learning to vid!

I guess I'd suggest sticking with upbeat cracky stuff since you like that but at the same time, if you wanted to expand, stuff like Boom Boom Pow which slides a bit more to the action and the action-synching with the music and stuff might be a good direction for you? If you wanted one?

Really? Interesting! Such love for the BBP! I think I was frustrated on that one because I couldn't really grasp a good concept to tie it all together. And I felt like I cheated out a bit and just went for the matchy beat stuff.

I actually just heard it on the radio tonight and it was the second Fergie chorus and that was the only other part I knew what I was gonna do with. (It was going to be a Fighting Caprica section like the first one was kinda a fighting Kara section).

But I think yes, I'm trying to find the next song that just commands me to make a vid. I was doing them so often for such a long time and I think I got out of song=vid thinky mode. Thanks for all the feedback!
