TV Guide posted an interview with the show's creator last night and Michael is in the film which takes place shortly after they gain their freedom and before the four year jump. And I think you find out how, specifically, Micheal died.
Oh. That might make more sense than what I was thinking, yes. (Not that making sense is necessarily a requirement for Prison Break. *g*) Maybe they'll be able to explain that ending a bit more than they did in the series, too.
Thanks for telling me! I was really wondering how they were going to try and pull off a PB movie without Michael. It would still be pretty hard to convince me that Michael is really dead, though. At this point, I'm not sure even seeing him die on screen would do it. I guess I'll look forward to seeing them try. :)

That made me laugh a ridiculous amount. HEE.
Anyhow, as asta said, the DVD film takes place before that four years later epilogue. Michael is involved and his death is more specifically addressed there. Although, like you, I think even if they show him dying, it will be possible to find a way to bring him back to life. Because this is Prison Break and that's how we roll!

Well, we actually saw Sara's head on a stick in a box, and she is still alive. They would have to work really hard, to make me believe that Michael is dead, after that. This isn't the kind of show that lets little things like logic stop it from bringing back characters when it wants to. I've been half expecting Aldo Burrows somehow magically come back from the dead, and we actually watched him die and be buried by Michael and Lincoln.
And speaking of Aldo Burrows, I found it interesting that Christina didn't mention Linc's father when she told Linc about his mother. So it's still possible that Linc and Michael are half brothers. Not that I think it matters one way or the other to how they feel about each other, of course. I've just always thought that Linc and Aldo Burrows are very similar in the way they think, so by the Christina Scofield school of genetics, they have to be related, right

Maybe he has amnesia, and a few years down the line, Alex Mahone will meet him on a business trip, and hide him away somewhere and try to make him remember who he is, because he wouldn't want to cause Sara more pain by telling her Michael is alive if he doesn't remember her. And then they'd have angsty conflicted amnesia-curing sex together.
