Dammit, I had typed out this whole thing and LJ did a stupid error. Damn LJ.
I'll start over. Yay to you being caught up!
AHH actually thinks that he's not going there to kill Ellen, that he's actually having an affair with her.
I actually think that quite possible, especially with the cheating conversation going on in this episode. I think it'd almost be a bit quick to have Miguel make his first kill on his own so quick. Plus, she didn't seem to surprised to see him and he goes over there all charged up.
and I wonder if he has always suspected Dexter of being the Bay Harbor Butcher? I don't know how, though. He has to know now, though, right? I mean...the M.O!
Aside from the vigilante killing, I don't think Miguel is giving it much more thought and doesn't realize how far back Dexter's killing goes. I think he's still under the impression of Doakes being the BHB. Plus, Miguel hasn't yet seen Dexter do the facial cut or the disposal. I actually don't think that will come up.
He has successfully snowed the people closest to him.
I think that is a big reason why, though I was a fan of it at the beginning of the show, I'm not so much a fan of the Rita/Dexter relationship now. I loved how delicate it was in the beginning and while I understand and agree that a relationship has to change and grow, I would love moment between them where it shows some inkling of Rita actually understanding Dexter. Not see him as a serial killer, but to most of his friends and family, they realize Dexter's flaws and work with them, call them out on occasion. But with Rita, the way the scenes write, it's always Rita demanding a change and eventually Dexter deciding it's the normal, right thing to do, so he goes along with it. I hate what that does to Rita's character and it makes the relationship lack much depth. I don't feel lke I've seen a real connection moment between them in some time and that makes the baby storyline so bothersome to me. The marriage alone I could deal with better, comparatively.
with Miguel and Camilla (though with her death that's obviously at an end. What a haunting scene)
Which bodes the question, how will Miguel die this season? So far, every person that has known the "real" Dex, he's had to put down himself. Even Camilla, in a way. I personally would not want Dexter to do the same with Miguel, for sheer predictability reasoning and my want for something different. It would be kinda cool if Miguel went on to something like Dexter's arch nemesis, but I get the feeling that won't happen and that a grave is already dug :P
Also, I realized I've failed to mention how much I'm shipping Deb/Anton
Same. I've really been enjoying Deb's storyline this season, in general, and I say this as someone who's never been a Deb fan. I just like seeing her being the one in control for once instead of the overeager puppy having things happen to her. I do wonder what has happened with Anton(if he's dead or not), though the one thing I didn't like about that scene of Deb discovering Anton being missing was that she said it all out loud, about the freshly cut trees and the skinner, etc. Was rather stage-y.
I also am REALLY HAPPY with Angel and Gianna. Oh god that message he left for her! *laughs forever* I would have listened to it over and over, too.
Same again! Angel is just so adorably awkward and endearing. I could watch an episode of just Angel and Masuka and be totally satisfied.
Alas, as a Pushing Daisies fan, I'm not feeling very good about their chances, as they had their lowest reported ratings ever last night. I haven't watched last night's ep yet, but I fear this may be the last we get.
I'm thinking this as well. I've never been a huge PD fan, but I've been liking this season better than a lot of last, so it's unfortunate.

Ooh, you know, that is an excellent point. I agree completely.

I'd love that! Like you, I feel that Miguel is kind of doomed to die now that he knows Dex's secret and is a rogue agent on top of that. But I'm hoping the show will surprise us on this!
