Ok, here's the thing: I don't want fandom to leave LJ. I like having you all here, but I understand that the situation has become untenable for some of you, so I'm squatting at names on other sites and welcome you to add me at these, or drop off your info in this post and I'll add you myself when I get back from VVC. I've seen a bunch of posts zoom by lately with people saying they have these alternate journals and I foolishly have not been writing them down, so I'd appreciate a comment saying where you have them and I'll find you there. :)

I am attempting to get an account at Journalfen as well, via leavin_eljay and will update this when I get one (which might be post-VVC). Assume it'll also be 'sdwolfpup.' Heh.
(Of course, this would be the perfect opportunity to change my online identity, but I find I'm sentimentally attached to 'sdwolfpup.')
I've also listed my info at Fandom411 and encourage you to do the same; it's quick and easy.
elke_tanzer has a post chock-full of links related to the recent LJ and obscenity issues, and brown_betty has a great post with complete information on backing things up. I highly recommend you at least backup your LJ, even if you feel entirely safe.
And there's a post about a newly introduced copyright law bill over at fandom_action that I recommend you review.
Also, I and several other vidders have had vids mysteriously disappear over at iMeem. I spent last night copying & pasting comments into a Word .doc so they were saved, so if my vids disappear over there, it's not me, it appears to be the site. So far I've only lost "Fast Cars" (and it's still up at my website).
In other news, I worked till 11pm last night and started working at 5am this morning all in the name of Vividcon and it will be TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Today is the last day of Round 1 of strangefandom! I have to get my last synopsis post together at some point. *looks at schedule* Hm. Heh.
It's raining here. I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. WTH, weather? Summer is so short, don't take our sunshine away already!
