I had forgotten until this moment how much I love Anita Cortez, so thank you. And your Anita is wonderful; courageous and determined and capable and smart. There should be more great Anita fic like this!

Hi - feel free to delete this comment if you want, but it's not "el" liebre. It's "la" liebre (hares, in Spanish, are female by default, no matter the actuar sex of the animal.) So it should be "la tortuga y la liebre." Subsequently, all insults should have female declination. So "estúpida" liebre.

(I don't mean to insult you or anything, but Spanish is my native tongue and I work as a Spanish translator - I just want to help you do it well. Sorry if I offended you in any way.)

"Conejito" in this case is fine, as it's a term of endearment. However, you have a phrase there in Spanish that makes no sense. The "conduzco" one? It should be "No voy a ninguna parte." If you want, email me next time you want to write something with Spanish in it, and I'll write the Spanish for you. K?

Oh! And since you gave me so many great James/Spike icons (you deserved your own LJ entry for that), swing by my LJ to see my pix with him. I still don't get why I didn't die then... *giggle*

YAY, Anita fic! This is fabulous, wonderful details--I love the idea of El Halcon being round, rather than hawklike, but with piercing eyes. And the end is truly perfect. Since the day calls for it: \o/!

I've fully accepted gender confusion as a side effect of entering into fandom, and frankly most of my LJ icons don't dissuade people of that notion ^_^.
