Oh, hot.

I thought your narrative was compelling. It's all twisted and it made me nervous for Wes. Especially with your use of *Wes* locking up Angel's soul during "you hold the key" - you have to keep the narrative in mind to avoid misinterpretation. I loved that.

Favorite moments:
- The TV shot.
- The shadowy black borders!
- The echo-y "bloodrush".
- The snap of Angel's hands on the bars, followed by Wesley's hands on his ::ahem:: weapon. Theirloveissocrossbowsex.
- The gun flare.

Something about all that Angelus and pained Wes has left my brain a bit scrambled I think. Ok, more than a bit. I feel like I'm getting to see something I'm not supposed to. Very voyeuristic--very enhanced by those soft black borders.

Ok, gotta stop staring at Angelus, or I'll just have to give up typing.

Faves:
--"my burning fascination" - Oh Wes...
--The beginning, so sexy, so perfectly scary for the music.
--That TV transition--very cool!
--Them staring at each other, one evil, one tortured. Gah.
--The gun flare!
--"you hold the key to my insatiable salvation" - Loved the intercutting and the reaction shot it ended on.
--That last creepy shot of Angelus...

Seriously, I don't think I've ever found Angelus quite this unsettling before. :}

Angelus is all about the eyes, I've found. He's *crazy* and yet totally in control of that, so it's a sane sort of crazy. Creepy.

Holy... whew. I do not remotely ship Wes/Angelus, but holy hotness. (Or unholy, I guess.) I really love the sinuous rhythm you've got going here, and the sort of voyeuristic feel that's enhanced by the zoom-in on the TV (which I loved). I adore :16 - :31, all the quick flashes and slow fades... excellent. I think the middle section is a bit static (:33 to :50ish), in that I lost the narrative a little bit (though possibly I'm dim), but you finish up really strongly, and that last little glimpse of Angelus smiling is just FUCKING CREEPY AS HELL.

Gah. Creepy and hot and excellent.

Thank you! I agree, I think the middle bit could use some punch; I feel like it loses some of its sensuality there and that may just be due to the static nature of the source that's available. This would be an excellent full-length vidlet if you make it Wes/Angel/Angelus, because then you've got all that other great stuff to work with.
