Hey, now! Here's the latest...
Movies: I saw two good movies last night. I stayed up so late that I lost track of time before it was 3am. I watched Robin Hood: Men In Tights and Young Frankenstine. They were both hilarious. By the time they were over, I was like, "Holy Crap! I have class to teach in 5 hours!" Earlier that day, I also saw Mulan for the first time. It was pretty cool
Music: I'm getting into Indian music lately. I don't know what they're saying or what it's about, but it's pretty nice. Oh, and that Zorba The Greek song, too. It's just an instrumental song, but I like it a lot
Family: We have a new addition to the family. My cousin had a baby girl last night. Her name is Jasmine... and she's GRUMPY baby. She was 4 hours old when I first met her. I picked her up to say Hi and she'd just growl at me and frown. The bright lights were hurting her eyes, so she looked as if she was frowning, though. As for her temper... she was eating before I got there and the nurse wanted to take her away for a while for some more check-ups. She was still hungry, so she was in a bad mood (she takes that from our side of the family. No one should mess with us when we're hungry)
4th of July: It was so cool... BBQ... Soccer (go Italy! Forza Azurri!)... more BBQ... Playing Soccer... Fireworks. I had a great time
Work: Remember how I was on the final stages of working at the Office? It turns out that I'm not as expendable as they thought. The people applying for my position are not really the nicest people ever (reformed gangsters... reformed drug users... reformed protitutes...) so, they're still trying to keep me there for a while longer. They even got me a raise again. I thought that was cool. The people coming in to apply are one of our co-worker's friends. She herself doesn't have a clean record, so what do you expect her friends to be like, right? I'd get my own friends to work here, but I wouldn't wish this Manager on anyone
