I feel part of my mind is ready for this summer I’ll spend there, but part isn’t. And I’m scared its he part that really should be. I’m so excited and ready to go though, and I’ll be waking up early and getting the last bit packed, then off to wal mart to buy more oil for my little brave, and pick up kyle. On the way up I’ll get my hair cut, that’ll be nice. At most I hope to be able to arrive in time for lunch to get my first free meal of the summer.
From then on I won’t know what will happen, but if you’d be at all interested you can always write me to see how I am and send me kind words to this address:
Brian Edwards
Triple-R Ranch
3531 Bunch Walnuts Rd.
Chesapeake, VA 23322-2899
I promise that whoever writes me I will write back and let you know how I’m doing, if anyone even cares.
I’ll be leaving a lot of friends behind, but I hope to make a lot more at camp while I’m there. I’ve felt so special within the last week to be able to see a bunch of my best friends for the last time this summer, and it was so nice for Laura, Hillary, and Candace to make me that cake, it was so pretty I kinda didn’t want to eat it. I didn’t get anything from josh, but I did give him a few cds as I did also to Stacey that I hope will last them for the summer. Stacey did give me a cd though, but wasn’t really for saying goodbye or anything. I was able to see other friends at other places, and said goodbyes and stuff. I saw matt, and then another day joey, they weren’t all that emotional or anything, but I hope they’ll be able to come visit me and skate the skate park too. I got to see Rachel graduate, and saw a few other people who I hadn’t seen in a while either. I know I might over react about this whole leaving thing, but I’m only leaving for a couple months, and will even come back a few times I’m sure, just I haven’t really been away that far for so long at a time, because I’m not used to it because college is so close…but I hope everything works out.
If I could I’d be at the ranch right now, but I had to go down to South Carolina this past weekend to see my newborn cousin Lauren. Well I didn’t care much to see her it’s a woman thing; I was just dragged along and crammed into my dad’s truck which was a horrible ride. The only good thing about the weekend was that we ate at a few good restaurants and had some good food though I prolly gained too much weight. Also that yesterday I went with my dad to an awesome theatre to see an incredible movie called The Day After Tomorrow. I’m a big weather freak sometimes, a bit of a hobby for me, but this movie was just amazing. The special effects and the storyline I think made it a great movie and I think everyone should go see it. I did lock my keys in my truck for the first time Saturday and got my spare key from joe and opened it today when I got back, I was kinda in a bad mood all weekend because of it but everything is ok now. I’m just killing time and going to pack up some more while I wait for the morning.
