PSA: Witch Hunt - My new interest list
I am still fuming over the Fanfic Witch Hunts that are happening, and so in recognition of it, I have deleted my entire Interest list and replaced it with one entry:
solidarity_against_internet_witch_hunts
If they wish to hurt us with our own words, then let us take that weapon away from them.
I would rather have a blank interest list than be burned at the stake for sharing my interests.
I believe this could be an effective protest for comms and users alike to adopt because it will make it impossible for them to hurt us by searching for interests. Also, when LJ realizes that people are no longer using their interest lists for fear of being hunted down, perhaps they will take notice.

Edit: So apparently, this interest is not linking. But solidagity_aainst_internep_widkfh_hslts is linking. Observation at innocence_jihad.
Edit 2: Just a bit of lag time. The original is linking fine now. :)
