The Scientific Fairness to Women Act would require the FDA to give more consideration to women's health issues, including putting more of a burden of proof on producers of silicone breast implants to prove their safety and requiring review and evaluation of current data on emergency contraception use in girls under 18. Let's see how little press coverage this gets.
Women's Bioethics Blog also laments the lack of ethics in medical shows like "House" and "Grey's Anatomy". Too bad I didn't catch this sooner; I might have tried to submit a paper.
I want this. I think I even have a wall in my place large enough for it. I was hoping to find a wall scroll of world philosophers (kind of like my wall scroll of composers), but haven't found anything quite yet.
