just a little something to make you guys feel better: i JUST started incidents in the life of a slave girl. i am on page 5. the book starts on page 4. so if you have read more than a page, you are in a better spot than I am, my friend. and yet, there is a smile on my face. because the way i see it, it takes about a minute and a half a page. i have to read 150 pages, but in reality only 130 because, hey, whats 20 pages really? so i have to read 129 pages times 90 second equals 11610 seconds which is 193 minutes. that's just a good 3 hours and 13 minutes of pure reading that i shall start at 6:47 p.m. on sunday night to have the novel done by my bedtime of 10:00 p.m. im really really happy with this. so happy i'll start reading at 6:46 p.m. on sunday night so i can have a minute to reflect and maybe check live journal or something. who knows.
what i do know is in that minute, the world will be my oyster.
what i dont know is if that oyster
will contain a pearl
but it won't because i'm thinking of clams and its 1:00 a.m.
