Disregard the last post. It's stupid, mundane and slightly tipsy.
Yes, I still can't get over Faye, but I don't think I'm trying hard enough. I'm letting everything remind me of her when I should be looking out for what possibilities might come.
It's like Jason from work said - If you spend too long watching the past, you miss out on the future, and it'll be your own fault.
Jason's damn wise sometimes.
I got a day off today, so I'm going to concentrate and learn these songs inside and out.
Here's what we've got so far:
Iron Maiden - "The Trooper" and "Aces High"
Machine Head - "Imperium"
Iced Earth - "Stand Alone"
TestAmenT - "Over the Wall" and "Into the Pit"
And next week I'll be learning
Lamb of God - "Now You've Got Something To Die For" and "Redneck"
Metallica - "Fight Fire With Fire" and "Trapped Under Ice"
So I've gotta really knuckle down and get shit done.
So....less whining on LJ, more guitar. NOW!
