Eerie Inhabitants
So, we had our first band practice yesterday. It went amazingly - except for the fact I hadn't learnt the Machine Head song. But we persevered, anyways.
I love that all of my band mates get on and it's all very fun - as opposed to getting that kind of "Session musician" kind of vibe that I got in the last band I was in.
So basically we're aiming to be gigging by July, it looks like. I've got 'till then to buy a new amp that doesn't have a dodgy input jack. Our first setlist will be mainly covers from general thrash and heavy metal bands, but hopefully we can write an original or two before then.
Can't wait for next practice. Although over the next few weeks, there's so much stuff interfering with it all...I've got to go to the fuzz to get charged for that thing I got arrested for in December, and then it's Joey's birthday the following week...
