The weekend is here, and I say it's about time! This should be a good one; tomorrow night there's a Brahms concert at the school, and I most definately intend to go. After that, ideally downtown Kalamazoo will be the next destination. I'm making a point of getting out a bit more. Now that I'm 21 I can do things like go out to a place like The Union (relatively classy little club, often with jazz bands playing), order a martini and enjoy myself. It's not that things have been boring here at the apartments. There's always something amusing to do here. But with all that's available in the world, why let life pass me by? I'm not going to get these years back, so I'd rather take the opportunities I have now than let time slip by and regret it later on when I have more responsibilities. Besides, there's nothing wrong with going to a classy bar, getting a nice meal and drink, and enjoying a little culture. I'm always looking for an excuse to put on my biker boots or dress shoes.
And apparently Jason really likes my new song. Knowing how picky his tastes in music are, that's a huge compliment. Life is good.
