(no subject)
Okay, so right now I'm in a Star Trek Reboot kink. As always, I gotta thank green_grrl for her amazing rec list, which keeps on keeping me alive and well. I spent the last month of my stay in the jungle alive and sane through her, even if reading most of the Due South fics she had recced kinda killed me a little bit (that was, I think, the beginning of the end of my relationship, so, yeah), and then, well, regular people might find it weird that one hides in a book (or in my case, in fanfiction) but it worked for me, kept me closer to sane than I would have been able to managed on my own, I guess, even if reading romantic stories would keep on hurting. But, yeah, I still gotta thank her, so, THANK YOU BABE.
Now, I need more STAR TREK REBOOT recs, because, wow, I love those two. AND THERE ARE SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! Kinda like Stargate SG-1 (WHERE EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THEY TRAVEL WORLDS!!!). I mean, yeah, EVEN MPREG IS POSSIBLE! *giggles madly* Like, you know I'm weird, and I've got this idea where Spock and Jim are captured and they experiment on them and end up impregnating Jim (who hasn't had that idea?) but only they fastforward the process and by the time they find them (five or six days after their capture) Jim is like seven and a half months pregnant so it's not a matter of going through the whole pregnancy, just a few more weeks (days?) until the child is viable because Jim can't quite go through the whole flushing thing and Spock can't connect to the child (can't feel it, so it must not be Vulcan) and doesn't recognize it as him and Jim tells him that okay, he can do it on his own, because he knows what it's like to not be wanted, and he doesn't want his kid to go through that...
Okay, THE POINT. Anyone has any other AMAZING RECS FOR ME? Anyone???? PLEASE! I just went through all of littlebirdtold stories, which though AU, are really freaking amazing, and DUDE I NEED MORE. I'm reading Observations for the moment, which should keep me busy for the next 30+ hours, but STILL. I WANT MORE. I MUST HAVE MORE.
