I just finished A Shadow Across.
It's a little over 113k and it has taken a piece of me with it, traditional with this long works. It... god, it didn't want to end. I could have written more and more of it until the end of my days (reminds anyone of Shadowboxing?) and I probably could have pulled it off. But it has an ending.
There's so much I haven't touched. I wanted Ryan to meet Seth's parents, but it never seemed to fit anywhere. I wanted Ryan to meet Sophie and get her, unlike Seth. And the fluff in me wanted Ryan and Seth to adopt a baby girl. Yes, I know. But that's for another story, for another time.
It's time.
