I need to ask a question to everyone out there that has graduated....

How long after finals (college, I mean, Seth studied English in Brown, to be more exact) is the graduation ceremony? I mean, if you finish in the Spring semester, around mid June, when would the graudation be??

Any and all answers will help me to finish ASA. Thanks!

Graduated what? High school? College? Grad school? In what area of the country?

For example, in some places in the Midwest or East Coast, public high school years start in August and end in May. Graduation is mid to late May. For a lot of high schools in California, the year begins in early September and ends in mid-June, so that graduation would be around the 12th - the middle of the month somewhere. My high school started in mid September and ended in late June. Graduation was anywhere from the 16th to the 22nd of June every year. I'm not the person to ask about private high schools.

As for colleges, in California the CSU, UC, and community colleges (public colleges) start in mid to late September and end in mid to late June, like the high schools. Graduation would be toward the end of June. Most private liberal arts colleges around the country start in mid to late August and end around May 10th or 11th. Graduation would be about then or a few days earlier.

Grad schools tend to have roughly the same schedules as private colleges, especially private grad schools. Boarding schools, since they're also private schools a lot of the time, tend to have the same schedules as most non-boarding private schools I think.
