(no subject)
Things are finally looking up for me. *bounces* I might be getting my cell phone this week and I'm gonna be getting myself a laptop. Yey!!! The thing is, we've had this PC for the longest time (it's a Pentium IV, so it's not THAT slow), though changing bits and pieces to keep up with the technology. All things together, we've had a computer since I was 4. And the computer always had its own "study" so either me or my dad could lock himself in and do whatever me/he wanted (think digital getdown and whatever it is my dad does. *shudders*) but now moving to a 3 bedroom apartment, the computer would either have to be put in my room or in the laundry room, which is adjacent to the kitchen. So, one of us gets screwed either way. *nods*
After a lot of talking with my mom (because over here laptops are expensive, and it's a luxury we shouldn't afford right now) it was decided that in order to maintain the peace (and my dad and I not to kill each other) it'd be best if I get myself my own laptop. My mom will lend me the money and I'll pay her monthly. It totally works. *nods*
Now, all of you laptop users, what do you suggest? Sony and HP might be a little bit out of my price range, so I'm thinking Dell? MSI? Advance? So. Suggestions? *bounces*
