Okay, so remember how I said that now that Viviana was back I don't have to do all her work and I can actually breathe? That's going well, it's just that now that it's March, we're back to winter hours, which means that we work 8-5.30pm. That? Totally killing me.

We had those same hours back in January, but that was like a whole freaking month ago, and I think I had forgotten how awful it is to leave at that time, go to the movies and just arrive home to have something pathetic to eat (high fiber cereal and low fat yogurt, don't ask). Really. It sucks. I have no idea how everyone else does it. *nods* No, no. I mean, I know. I can handle it. Just... some days, you just wanna bitch, right?

In other more/less stressful news... Jose won't be going to Spain until May 4th, which is the "at the moment" set date.

(...)

I just checked and May 4th is a Sunday, and I of course have no classes, which means I don't have to skip anything to go to the airport to say goodbye. I will take a bunch of pictures with my brand new cell phone at the time, and make sure to post them all. The chick crying her eyes out will be Jose. *giggles* No, no, it'll probably be me, clinging to the guy crying his eyes out. *g*

And talking about cellphones, finally, one that fills my wet dreams.

To explain this whole thing, well, first I had to chose a carrier that would be the cheapest in international calls. It was supposed to be the one I'm already at, Claro, but then the company went stupid on me and now Movistar (Telefonia Movil) actually gives me 100 more minutes for the same amount of money. Ergo, I'm changing carriers, meaning, I'm also changing numbers. Why? Because I need an actual contract with Movistar so I have this very expensive plan which charges 0.55 soles per international minute. *shrugs* What can I do?

At first, I wanted the HTC S641, but that one was only in Claro. Then, checking Movistar, I found Nokia E65, which wasn't bad, but it wasn't perfect either. By that moment, I had learned more about cell phones and plans and Quarty-keyboard than ever before. I had fallen in love with Blackberry, but it was too expensive, mostly because I needed a cell phone with wi-fi and none of the Blackberry ones exported over here had it.

Until now!

Let me introduce you to... Blackberry Pearl 8120. It's small, it's pretty. IT'S PERFECT. *bounces* I love it. I do, I do. *nods* It has a camera and wifi and it's Blackberry and ohmygod what else can a girl ask for? It's only $300 (it's actually 300 nuevos soles, my currency, but you all think dollars) with a new plan and I love it I love it I love it. *nods* You shall all be spammed with tons of pictures of my baby as soon as I get her. Which should be mid April. *nods* I'm giddy with happiness about it (and not thinking how Jose is going away for a fucking year goddam--) and not thinking about anything else. Nope. Nothing else at all.

And if after May I start writing a lot of stories where Ryan starts pining after Seth for the ass leaving for Providence, it will have no relation with real life. At all. I swear. *nods*

jose going to spain, soil mechanics, real life, work
