You loved Ch 7....I loved this one. You covered so much ground here, brought them so much further than you had before (and I mean emotionally, here) but of course there was the sex...TeeHee! So many good lines to quote:

But any collector knows that rare things, the ones that are really worth it, are the ones you must look and wait for.

It's not about Seth leaving, but about Ryan finding himself unable to see him. And how Ryan wants to, once, even just once, to be able to see Seth underneath him, hear him pant and know he did it, Ryan did that, put that broken voice there and be responsible for that, God, just once, just once.

"Ryan, Summer was... my Jimmy Copper."
Ryan frowns, not getting it, not seeing the connection between this and the Coopers. "What?"
"You're my Sandy Cohen."

"We've been doing this," he says against Ryan's lips, breath leaving Seth and Ryan tasting it on his tongue, "for the last six years. I think we're pretty good at this."

And it might not be easy, but they've never done easy before, so Seth's kinda used to that.

Yep - lots of goodness here. I may be late to comment, but I'm thorough! I love that this is the reverse of 'Look Over Here', that Ryan is the one in need, and also the insecure one, afraid of being left. And that Seth has grown up, taken control, done the reassuring. *sigh*

Good chapter. *nods*

Chapter seven and this one need one another. They can't be good without one another. In chapter seven, Ryan breaks, and in this one, Seth picks him up. I love that. *nods*

It's polar opposite to "Look over here," yeah. *g* I went a bit overboard (not I ever not do that) on the angst, and loved every minute of it. If I was gonna go and break Ryan, I might as well do it with a bang, right? *g* I think I kinda did. *bounces*

"We've been doing this for the last six years", I think that's my favorite line of this story. It says so much about them, about their past and their future, I can't not love it. *g*

I tend to force Seth to grow up in my stories. I like my Seth to be one that cares for Ryan more than he could care for himself. Very not-canon, in a way. *g*

Thanks so much, babe. You know it means to world coming from you. *bounces*
