Things are moving along smartly with the new
Genesys RPG. We have a draft that is mostly complete, Eric Caple and Rob Vaux are cranking on the remaining wordage, and I'm editing the original authors' texts and rearranging it all into one semi-coherent whole.
The goal is to have printouts and electronic copies of a completed Alpha Draft in time for some demos at GenCon. No art, no layout, just the words in semi-presentable shape so we can start enticing fans and getting some playtests and convention buzz going out there.
And yes, I did say GenCon. The publishers are bringing Rob, Eric, and me in to Indy for a couple of days of meetings, some demo sessions of our own, and some general gaming fun. Won't be there the whole weekend, and I have no idea how much (or little) free time I'll have -- I'm guessing not much. But it'll be my first trip to GenCon in three years, so I'm stoked. Maybe I'll see you there.
