Looks like they're going to shuffle us out of the building at 11 pm tonight, as I am one of the "non-essential" government employees affected by the government shutdown, barring a last-minute wave of sensibility sweeping through the corridors of political power. Not holding my breath.

Well, at least I'll have more time to blog.
