Zombie dreams
Every once in a while, I have zombie nightmares. They are bittersweet because I love Zombie movies, but they can be fucking scary as shittzle.
Last night, I read the latest trade paperback (fancy way of saying big comic book) in "The Walking Dead" series. Big thanks to Bella for picking it up :) Needless to say, I loved it. It's a great story all around and very refreshing for a comic book. This combined with too much Left 4 Dead play I think caused my zombie dream.
In this dream, it was me, khalanamnell, Red, and Bella trying to get to a safe room in an abandoned building. We found the room, but could find no weapons or blunt objects. A huge herd of zombies was headed our way because we made too much noise getting there, so we were basically fucked. I tore apart a pipe off the wall to use to bash in some zombie heads, but it was pretty bleak.
Then, out of no where, we heard gun shots! A group of people drove in and save the day in an armored truck. They had a line of survivors they had found behind them and were driving the city looking for more. We joined up with the party and started the march out of there. Then I made the mistake of saying, "Now watch...the truck is going to break down". And sure enough, it did. We started pushing the truck to get out of there, but it was bad news because we were sort of stuck in this long garage which was a choke point. Then, we heard the next herd AND tank coming. If you haven't played the game, the "Tank" looks like the hulk....but he's a racking zombie. That's right, he can pick up cars and THROW THEM AT YOU. He's huge. So we heard the Tank roar, and the blood drained from our faces. The truck wasn't working and we had at least 5 or 6 unarmed people and 3 armed. I grabbed the shotgun from the military guy who found us and told him to get my family to safety. We used a few pipe bombs to clear out the herd, but in the distance we saw all of the big bad mean specialty zombies waiting for us. Including two tanks, one of which was carrying a huge club. I started heading towards them knowing I was probably gonna die, and then I woke up.
So yea....crazy zombie dream. At least this time, it wasn't a zombie soldier dream. Those are just weird.
