Splurge!
So today I decided to splurge a little bit and finally grab myself a 19" LCD monitor. Of course I've been looking into getting one for quite some time, but didn't want to get a shitty one or experience ANY ghosting.
Well today I decided to grab myself a Viewsonic VA912b 8ms 19" LCD. It ended up costing me around $295 w/ tax, but I'm totally not dissapointed. So far no noticable ghosting on COD2, or FFXI, but I have yet to test any of the hardcore games with it (Oblivion, Quake 4, etc).
My other option was a $340 + Tax monitor from Ginstar (yuck) tha featured 4ms Response time (orgasm), but I felt that was kind of unneccesary. Plus it was an off brand (AOC or AOpen, and I prefer Viewsonic to either).
Anyways I'm gonna go enjoy my lcd while I can, tomorrow I have to work, and then just about every day for the next two weeks I'm either doing the Omax thing, or working on systems.
