I tried to like
7th Sea. The game had a lot of heart, some fantastic imagery and a ridiculous amount of range. At the end of the day, though, it cast its net too far. I didn't want to play "A Scottish highlander, a Cossack and a courtier from the court of the Sun King walk into a bar." I wanted to play
this picture.

But, yeah. Loved some aspects of it (the pure creepiness of Porte sorcery, for one... "To teleport from here to my home, I rip a bleeding hole in the side of the universe and walk back. Blind. Otherwise, I'll get pulled into Hell. Buh-bye!"), didn't much dig the rules and wasn't fond of the spread. Vodacce was plenty big enough for the game. Thus, this.

I'm pretty sure I remember this from somewhere in the player's guide. You didn't shoot your opponent dead, you knocked him out and tied him up or otherwise temporarily incapacitated him. Or something.
I agree with the cool factor of the Vodacce. 'Course, I LARPed a Toreador, so what can you expect.
Also, Venice. Mmmm.
