Step, by step...
Inch by inch...
I start my new business, and make more money :)
I just signed up with a major BPO company to do BPOs. A BPO stands for 'Broker price opinion' or what I refer to as an 'appraisal lite' With the economy in the tolet, I'm forced to do BPOs for $100 instead of Appraisals for $300
Hey, when you need doe, you take a few bucks to make more doe. Hmm...that's an idea! (ahem) This may turn out to be instead of "death by a 1,000 cuts" a "business by a 1,000 little jobs."
Hey, what ever brings me closer to my goal of car, land, home, doe, horse, dog.
I am slowly advancing. This year has been far different. I'm making good on my plans, and steady working on those plans. I have ahead of me:
- pre-algabra (gag) in march - which leads up to Stats in the fall semester. This ultimately leads me to get that @#$@(@(@ appraisal license. Which now I'm starting to think it'd be moot :\
- Sales on E-bay. I'm finally about to start with this. I have some Seagate harddrive distributors lined up, and looking into other companies, and distributors. So far, it seems I can pay about $50 a drive from the distributors, then if I can re-sell them on E-bay for far less than Wal-mart I can still make a profit. So far, I haven't tried yet, but it's a start.
- My personal web site, with ads.
- My Real Estate Sales persons' license. I'm in active study for this. There's a good possibility I can go for the test in March!
- Another secret thing I can't quite bring out here yet. I'm not 100% sure if I should talk about it on the nets, so understand if I don't post what it is. But this is another thing I can do on the side, though my home easily, and can bring in some money.
Ultimately my goal is around $50k a year at least. That should be more than enough to get a small home, land, and the things I mentioned above. But that's at least 5 years in the future, so I'm not even planning on that yet. It's like getting married, and wonder "Will I be able to send my kids to collage, in 20 years?"
As I said however, I need to use any and all money to get my licenses, and school paid for. It's going to be a hard year, not to spend this on frivolous things, like books, DVDs, CDs, computer equipment. But...it's an investment in the future.
I will be asking friends for advice, BTW so I hope your all ready.
