One of the last assignments of ART101, was to write an autobio of an artist. So I picked my favorate; Peter Paul Rubens.
Today, got a few replies on it. The instructor liked it, and especially the amount of references I put in the bibliography page. (15 in all). A few people asked what is a .ODT format (hehe)
To be honest, I wasn't happy with it, as it was a stumbling read. There was many, many Italian and other names that are nearly impossible to understand unless you know that language, and other problems I had with it. But I was pressed for time, so I couldn't give it my best. But hey, for 10 points, don't expect a research paper.
Thank goodness I'm about done. I'm in what I call stage 3 of editing my research paper.* Then the exam and I'm DONE with Humanities 202. The rest of the month will be cruising with ART101, then I'm completely done. After this however, I still don't know what will happen.
But I will say, the Asus has come in invaluable! I was able to edit the research paper some during a restaurant visit yesterday, and also on the VERY long appraisal jobs we're doing. For some odd reason, we're getting long-distance ones after nearly a year of local works. We're talking 6 - 8 HOURS a day in the car :(
Grades? I did promise you that. Well I made an 89% in Astronomy 101. A solid "B" Not something I'm entirely happy with, I should have made 100%, especially with my life-long fascination with the subject. But hey, I'll live with it. At least I didn't do a C, or worse. I'd bitched then. I'm not sure how HUM202, or ART101 is going yet. But I suspect As so far. We'll see at the end of the month.
So that's it. I'm still alive, but slowly getting done.

* Stage 1 is outlining, stage 2 is writing, stage 3 is editing #1 in which I add and subtract, check facts, and such. Stage 4 is the final edit. This is also where I take a 1 day break, and re-read it out loud, to someone.
