Postal Service, Dragons and BoReDoMe
Ok well today the only time's i went out were to my guitar lesson and to babysit.. so basically today has been one of the most boring ever.. i mean yea i love guitar and babysitting but the rest of the day was just...ok i kno this is one of my complaining lj entries, if you have anything mean to say about it just dont.
Basically i went to my guitar lesson early in the day where i partially learned to play that postal service song so itat was pretty fun, then my mom picked me up(no i still don't have a permit cause when i went to the dmv yesterday i didn't have form DL44 which both parents need to sign so thats jus annoyin.) and we went home, i did hw for hours and hours, and went across the street to babysit 6:30. As soon as i got in the door of their house, Rhys(the 5 yr old boy) and olivia(the 7 yr old girl) came dashing towards me babbling about wanting to write a story. so, after their parents left we all sat down at the little table in the kitchen and after olivia read us this story she had written at school about dragons, Rhys wanted to write one too. So, since he can't write yet, i became the scribe and he went on to dictate a page and a half long stories about dragon's and wars. The main character was this "boy dragon named Dragona" and the whole story was basically about this dragon who lived in (i kid you not) "goodville", going off with all the "men and even women and children in his village" to fight 3 different wars against "badville" at the end of each war, there were only "dragona" and "king uglyface" left representing the 2 sides and it was always "decided that dragona would be the winner though neither ever died" it was just so adorable that this 4 year old kid was dictating this whole story, but also so scary that he was describing these horrific wars where "men women and children" all had to fight, and everyone always died. I honestly have no idea where he got all of these ideas, but he must have been somewhat influenced by what is going on in the world right now since his parents are big newspaper readers.. If he's this pessimistic at the age of 4, who know's what is going to happen.
Ok, well thats my little story, i should probably make it an lj cut but i may not know how, we'll see. ciao people
