Official SAB Storyline
The fight against The First of All Evil brought Sunnydale down to ruins, a battle to end all battles brought Angel's Fang Gang to near defeat--but chosen heros do not fade away. And neither does the site of the Hellmouth.
Sunnydale has been brought back to it's former state, a sleepy town that hides a horrible secret. Politicians reappointed have brought promise to all of Sunnydale's former residents and business owners that they would get their land returned to them, and build new homes and the like for them with no charge in hopes to get them to return. Buffy is informed of this while in Rome, and knows better then anyone that the Hellmouth cannot be unguarded when there are innocent people there that need protecting, so she returns with her sister in tow and gets Giles to call back all of her former friends to help her.
Meanwhile, when Sunnydale was being transformed into a crater- a deep, dark evil crawled out of the fissure before it closed. Taking on human guise, the creature that called itself Arjor began a plot to bring itself up in the ranks of Sunnydale society. Using magicks and it's own demonic abilities, it began a following from the fledgling Sunnydale residents. Little did they know that the Mr. Arjor they had begun to trust as their cult-like leader was turning them slowly into his own race of demon minions, the Vlase. The Vlase are slowly spreading, and no one is the wiser because of Mr. Arjor's covert ways. With his seeming immortality, and a dark cloud of control over Sunnydale--it's looking as if no one can stop the beginnings of his reign.
Angel and his friends have their own problems to worry about. Angel's crushing injuries, the long recovery following them, and the pain of the loss of some of his closest friends have caused him to once again 'lose the mission'. Gunn, Illyria, Spike, and he all went to find Lorne in Las Vegas to seek refuge, and while the others continued the good fight there, Angel returned to his all too common brooding mode. The Powers That Be were still impressed with his victory over Wolfram & Hart, and know that they need their hero back. So they decided to grant him the one thing that might bring him back into action--the return of his Seer and closest friend--Cordelia. But Cordelia's return is marred with the hideous vision of a sadistic world where an unspeakable evil originating in Sunnydale are dominant. She knows that the only way Buffy and The Scoobies can defeat this new big bad is if she gets Angel and the others to go to Sunnydale and help.
A reunion for the ages, a war beyond any either group has ever seen before, the repercussions of the upcoming battle will resound throughout Sunnydale and beyond.....
