Faith
Anyone - Scooby GangFaith glared at the driver through the privacy glass. They were late. Faith had been doing so well too, being on time all the time, showing up to kick ass and take names and generally being part of the crowd. She was using her newfound wealth to her advantage and sharing… and now her good streak was shot to hell because

Fumbling with her earrings, she ran into the kitchen and retreived her bag, before racing to the foyer. Wasn't Faith supposed to be here by now? She pulled on her denim jacket and opened the door, planning to go out and wait on the steps. Except during that simple action she somehow managed to bump into Faith. She backed off quickly, eyes wide, before she realised what had happened. A deep exhale later, and she forced a smile. "Ready as ready can be. We going in style?" She nodded toward the limo.

She pulled the door open and grabbed out a soda and then two handing one to Buffy. "Plus I was figuring everyone else would be here. You know, Dawn and Xander and everybody…" She gestured with her soda and then popped it open taking a drink. "They meeting later? Or is this a 'Slayers Only' Shopping expedition?"
The limo pulled slowly away from the curb as Buffy shut the door, headed downtown. She looked at Buffy, "Speaking of shopping, where to? I'm not exactly experienced in buying fancy outfits. I'm pretty much a 'tanktops and leather' sort of girl. I think the last time I even wore a dress was when you were up for Homecoming Queen."

She received the soda thankfully, flashing a small grin as she pulled the ringtop and took a sip. "They're gonna meet up with us later. Apparently 10 am is too early for people these days. Ironic, seeing as we used to meet at the Magic Box at 9." She shrugged a bit, while looking distractedly at the Limo's various features.
"I heard there's a new place out on Ark Street - one of those casino-slash-plaza places. You know, where everything's so bright and shiny you're tempted to wear sunglasses? Might be worth a look?"

Listening to Buffy's suggestion, Faith pushed a button to roll down the privacy glass a bit. "We're going to Ark Street." She rolled the glass back up and commented to Buffy, "It takes five minutes to get from your house to downtown. We'll be there in about twenty. Make yourself comfortable."
"But sunglasses huh… they probably won't even let us in. It's not as if we look like we have any money. Kinda funny isn't it?" Faith trailed off and shook her head, "So what kinda deal are we looking for anyway? Besides incredibly expensive, I mean."

"I don't know. But it doesn't have to be expensive - it just has to look expensive. Something sleek and shiny, I'd imagine." She smiled suddenly. "Poor Xander will have to drag out his tux, unless he's going to shell out for something new. He didn't specify."
The driver slid down the window that separated the front of the limo from the back, informing the girls that they had arrived at the specified location. He must've predicted that they were going to the casino because he pulled up outside it. Buffy climbed out of the vehicle, waited for Faith, then entered the glossy building. Her eyes started to hurt before she got two steps in.
"Anything take your fancy?" she asked, glancing at the selection of shops.

Her first reaction was that maybe Faith had been caught stealing - except they were on their way into the plaza, so that was just stupid. Also there was the fact that she was rich now... Buffy still couldn't get her head around that.
She then realised that the other Slayer's prediction had come true; that just because they weren't dressed to the nines they were going to be lead out of the place. Buffy rolled her eyes at the interaction and was a little annoyed that it cut into her shopping time.
A smile slipped across her lips as Faith showed the guy which way was up. She merrily picked out a pair of sunnies and slid them over her face. "You sure showed him," Buffy said, now making her way towards the posh shop. She stepped inside and started wading through the designer selections.

Faith shrugged, as she waded after Buffy into the large amounts of dresses. There was an avalanche of color. Faith was thinking she'd stick with black… or maybe a crimson. Maybe she'd go with white for the irony.
"Not all stereotypes are right all of the time; look at Spike and Angel… and Lorne. Did you meet Lorne?" Faith asked, "He was cool, you'd know if you met him. He's always wearing green." Faith put a slight stress on the word to let Buffy know he was demonic. "You'd like Lorne. Everyone likes Lorne."
She looked at an incredibly yellow dress and wondered who on earth would buy such a thing before moving on, "I think he's in Vegas. Isn't that where Spike said Angel and the rest were?"

Dawn finally located Faith and Buffy when she cast a glance through the window of the third shop she found herself wandering past. She entered the shop practically at the same moment a couple girls wearing designer clothing did, splitting from the small group Dawn headed off in the direction she had seen Faith and Buffy in.
"Oh Faith! You would look sooooo adorable in yellow." Dawn teased with a grin coming up behind her sister and the other slayer, noticing the overly bright, yellow dress Faith had been looking at briefly.
"Who's in Vegas?" Dawn asked having just caught the end of what Faith was saying.
