Willy had made a visit to the house less then an hour before, delivering the deed and other important documents pertaining to the sale of the house and change of ownership. After showering and slipping on a clean tank and a pair of her favorite denim Dawn set out on her mission. Her first stop was the Magic Box, but when she entered the store she saw that it was different then what she had remembered. There were far less books then when Giles had run the place. Perusing the small section that was set aside for books Dawn was only able to locate one book she thought might be helpful. A bit disheartened, Dawn payed for her single purchase

Once within the club Kaethe gave the place a going looking over, wanting to get a better advantage point Kaethe had started making her way to the stairs that would take her up to the catwalks that extended out over the main floor of the club. She had only taken a couple steps when she found her way blocked by a tall, 20ish looking guy with a mass of raven curls

After the band had finished their third song Dawn had decided the time had come to leave and get herself back home. She didn't want Buffy or Spike to be worrying about her or to actually go out in search of her

When she saw the dark haired girl stand and move toward the door of the club Kaethe left her spot on the catwalk and made her way down the stairs. Her intent was only to follow the girl and perhaps find out her place of living. Things took a definite turn when Kaethe noticed she was not the only one tracking the girl. A lone girl on the streets is too much of a temptation for some vampires and Kaethe had a hunch what was on the mind on of this one who appeared to be following the girl

Once on her feet Dawn watched as the jeep careened up onto the curb, catching the vampire and pinning him to the iron fence.

Taking the couple steps to retrieve her bag of books Dawn gathered up the bag in her arms and was just about to continue her walk, a bit more quickly now after her run in with the undead guy, when she heard a young woman's voice yell from the vehicle for her to get in. A moment's hesitation as she glanced to the vamp pinned against the fence and the jeep, Dawn moved quickly then around the jeep, swinging the door closed once she found herself seating in the passenger seat.

"You came along just at the right time." Dawn said, looking out the windshield at the vamp who was squirming now in an attempt to free himself from between the iron rods and the vehicle.

"Where to?" Kaethe put the jeep in reverse, the vehicle bumping a bit as the jeep went back down off the curb. The vamp crumbling to the ground once the pressure of the jeep was off him.

Once she had the jeep back on the street Kaethe turned her eyes to the girl, waiting to be told which direction she would need to be taking. She knew the vampire would regain his footing momentarily and she wanted to be out of the area when he did.

Dawn relayed directions on how to get to her house to the young woman once the jeep was back on the street. A glance out the window she saw the vamp slowly start to rise to his feet, the look Dawn glimpsed in his eyes sent a shiver through her body.

Dawn settled her books on her lap as the jeep started down the street.

"My name is Kaethe Daneti." Kaethe introducing herself as she drove down the street in the direction the girl had told her. She had not planned on meeting the girl this soon, but the swain of a vampire had put a crimp in her plans.

"And I suppose I did arrive in the nick of time," casting a smile and a side glance to the girl. The dark haired one was certainly a beauty of a creature, but being the mirror image of Gisela she could be nothing else.

"I'm Dawn Summers, nice to meet you, Kaethe" Dawn said returning the introduction. Letting the stake slip from where she had placed it in her sleeve, Dawn eased it back into the pocket of her jacket where she felt the small bottle of holy water was unbroken.

"You'll want to turn right, here." Dawn made mention to Kaethe. "It's the fourth house from the corner on the right." Dawn said as they neared the bend in the road.

"A pleasure to meet you, Dawn Summers." More then you know, beauty was the thought that went through Kaethe's mind as she turned the jeep slowly around the corner.

"Well here we are." Kaethe said as she pulled the jeep to a stop in front of the house Dawn had said was hers, making a quick glance up and down the block Kaethe noted not a soul was in sight. Kaethe put the jeep in park, shifting a bit in her seat, turning her eyes to Dawn.

"Home safe and sound." A smile warming her features as she caught Dawn's eyes with her own.

She felt Dawn get lost in her gaze, lifting a hand she gently tucked lose strands of dark hair behind Dawn's ear. A slow lean toward Dawn, careful to keep her eyes focused on her own. Their lips almost touching as Kaethe leaned in further.

"Home safe and sound." Dawn's voice a soft murmur as the words were spoken. She felt herself getting lost in Kaethe's eyes when the young woman looked to her. Everything seemed peaceful and serene and when Kaethe tucked the hair behind her ear Dawn did not seem to mind in the slightest. Nor did she flinch or feel uncomfortable when she felt the light touch of Kaethe's lips against her own.

Kaethe kept Dawn's eyes locked with her own after gracing her with a soft, tender kiss. She had the urge to do more still having Dawn under her mesmerizing gaze, but refrained from doing so. She wanted to get to know Dawn slowly.

"You will only remember this moment, our kiss, in your dreams."Kaethe whispering softly in Dawn's ear, her eyes shifting slowly from Dawn's, thus breaking the hold she had had on the girl.

"You should be more careful when you are out at night, Dawn." Kaethe said settling back in her seat as Dawn slowly came out of her trance-like state.

"More careful." Dawn said after seeming to have zoned out there a moment and was confused by it for a moment.

"Well I guess I should be getting out." Dawn reached hesitantly for the handle of the door. For some odd reason she wanted to remain here in the jeep with Kaethe. A slight shrug was given to her shoulders as the thought perished from her mind. Dawn eased open the door, gathering up her bag of books as she stepped from the jeep out onto the curb.

"Thanks again for the ride and intervention. Maybe I'll see you around." Dawn said with a smile as she shut the door.

Kaethe smiled softly noting the brief look of confusion on Dawn's features.

"It was just luck that I happened by," Kaethe replied to Dawn, there really was no point in telling Dawn that she had been watching her when she had been inside The Bronze.

"That you will, Beauty." Kaethe said softly after Dawn closed the door of the jeep, thus keeping the words out of her range of hearing. Kaethe watched Dawn as she walked the path that reached the front stairs of the house. Only then did Kaethe shift jeep into gear and drive slowly away from the Summers house.
