The Host - not technically YA but the protagonist is 17 and it's a lot less racy than Breaking Dawn

13 Reasons Why
Acheron - not YA but I love love love Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series so I couldn't leave it out
I've read hundred of YA and adult novels. Have loved many but been really excited about few. These are 6 books I'll always remember! And to add just a couple more - Blood and Chocolate, A Certain Slant of Light, and Beastly.
