801 Burning Holes In My Pocket
So, lately I've been buying a lot of books. And by a lot of books, I mean a lot of yaoi.
Since the start of 2014, I purchased 25+ volumes of yaoi. I spent around ~$180 for the 17 volumes I purchased from Chapters.ca (thanks to Plum Rewards 5% discount, and scouring the net for coupon codes).
My other 10 volumes I bought from Amazon.ca. I spent a total of $8. No, that isn't a typo. Yes, they were all purchased new. My secret? Swagbucks.
I'm going to Yaoicon 2014 in September, so I've been saving for that. Hence, my spending on yaoi had to be reigned in. I joined Swagbucks back in November. I figured that since I waste hours upon hours of my life doing god-knows-what on the internet, I might as well make some pocket money while I'm at it. So, I spend a little bit of time every day on Swagbucks. I make between 50 - 200 SB a day. Once I get 450SB, I cash it in for a $5 gift card to Amazon.ca. Once I get a $25 - $30 balance on my Amazon account, I buy some yaoi.
So, if you have the time, but not the money, Swagbucks is a pretty decent way to line your wallet.
